The Tranx is a powerful casting reel designed with one purpose in mind, to provide plenty of power. For specialists in big baits, who fish for large freshwater and saltwater predators, the Tranx has no equal with its impressive winding torque and its powerful multi-disc brake. The Tranx is a special reel for big bait experts and if this is what you are looking for, you will love using it. You will never feel short of weapons and power when using the biggest crankbaits, the oversized swimbaits or any other big-sized object! The Tranx is actually quite compact in use, and the 300A and 400A double handle models work without issue with 75 cm of line per turn of the handle. For more speed, the HGA option has a single powered handle and recovers 100 cm per turn. Whatever your choice, when you need a reel to flex its muscles, you can count on Tranx. With more than 300 g, the Tranx is not a light reel, but it does not pretend to be. It's a beast. The HAGANE aluminum body is ultra-resistant, just like the X-SHIP technology of the gearing. Hook a big fish and you will immediately take control. With a stopping power of at least 8 kg, provided by the multi-disc brake, there will never be just one winner. The Tranx uses Shimano's reliable VBS braking system for casting, and combined with an S3D aluminum spool, the big lures fly through the air with ease. And for anglers who want to use it for sea fishing, fear not, it is equipped with Coreprotect for long-term durability.
