The Helix 5 G3 Chirp DI DS Humminbird received the Pecheur Awards Navigation 2023 for the 5 sounder fishing as well in river, river or dam lake.

The New HELIX 5 GPS G3 DI series offers a superb 5" panoramic color screen without compromise and Down Imaging Dual Spectrum CHIRP 2D sonar technologies, an internal GPS with Humminbird base map and integrated AutoChart Live.

It is compatible with Humminbird LakeMaster / CoastMaster cards as well as Navionics cards.

Down Imaging: shows what's happening under your boat, with a near-photo level of detail.

Dual Spectrum CHIRP: Dual Spectrum offers two search methods: wide mode for maximum coverage and narrow mode for maximum detail.

AutoChart Live: Create real-time maps of your fishing sites. Trace depth contours, bottom hardness and vegetation as you drive your boat, with eight hours of built-in recording time.

Control Panel: Access preloaded views from the menu, managed by programmable keys that allow you to use your sounder reliably in all conditions.

Power Supply Tips:
A 12v lead battery of at least 12Amp is recommended for good autonomy. The ends of the wires at the end of the sounder power cable are stripped and it is necessary to adapt and get lugs (not supplied with the sounder) to connect it to the battery.

Sonar installation advice:
A Seanox Stainless Steel Slider for Sonar, reference 410030, 410050 and or 410080, allows you to properly position your sonar on the stern of your boat and protect it during launching. You thus ensure the protection of your sonar when you pull your boat on its trailer or when you approach shallow areas like a beach and or a launching ramp. You will have the possibility to precisely adjust the sonar height so that it gives the best image rendering on your sounder when fishing.
Three versions are available for this sonar holder slide in 30cm/50cm and 80cm to adapt to the height of your stern.
