The solar panel converts solar energy into electricity, which is then stored in the integrated rechargeable battery.

The solar panel is durable, waterproof and easy to use.

The built-in high-capacity battery can be recharged using solar power or the provided power block.

This product is compatible with the following NUM'AXES trail cameras:
• PIE1023
• PIE1037
• PIE1046
• PIE1051
• PIE1052

Solar Panel Installation Tips
• Adjust the angle of the mounting bracket so that the solar panel is facing the sun, in a non-shaded location. Generally, in the northern hemisphere, this means the panel is facing south.
• Ideally, the panel should be installed at a 45 degree tilt.
• Do not install the solar panel in a location where sunlight could be prevented from reaching the panel.
• The quality of sunlight plays a large role in how quickly the internal battery charges. If the sky is cloudy, the charging time will be longer. The more intense the light, the faster the charge.

Connecting the Solar Panel to a Trail Camera
• Plug one end of the output cable into the solar panel's output port (OUT), and then plug the other end of the output cable into the external power port of your trail camera. Press the ON/OFF button on the solar panel to switch it on. If the solar panel's internal battery is charged, the trail camera will be powered immediately.
• It is highly recommended to install batteries in the trail camera even when it is connected to the solar panel. Otherwise, the trail camera could stop working due to a lack of power. In case of intensive use of the trap, the solar panel's battery may not charge fast enough and, therefore, it is advisable to put batteries in the trail camera for optimal operation.
• If you are using the solar panel with other devices other than the NUM'AXES PIE1023, PIE1037, PIE1046, PIE1051 and PIE1052 trail cameras, carefully check their user guide and contact the device's provider to make sure it is compatible with the solar panel before connecting them. NUM'AXES will not be held responsible for any damage that may occur due to incorrect use of the product.

Charging the Solar Panel Battery
It is important to fully charge the solar panel's internal battery before using it. The battery can be charged using solar power or the supplied power block.
• Charging with solar power: For best results, place the solar panel in direct light. The quality of light plays a large role in how quickly the battery charges. If the sky is cloudy, charging will take longer. The more intense the light, the faster the charge.
• Charging on main power with the supplied power block: Connect the power block to the solar panel’s input port (IN) and plug it into a wall socket to start charging. Do not use any other power block than the one provided with the solar panel at the time of purchase to recharge the internal battery.
