Designed for the most demanding anglers

The Emblem Surf 35 Type R is the result of field research conducted by Daiwa teams on the coasts of the Iberian Peninsula. Listening to the best surfcasting fishermen, Daiwa engineers have designed the product best suited to their needs, while remaining focused on casting distances. It is waterproof thanks to Daiwa's MagSealed oil. To cope with all possible situations, the reel has two additional spools totalling in overall. Sometimes, it's better to opt for a sufficiently strong nylon to brave harsh conditions (storms, strong waves and currents, or even rocky areas). However, in good conditions and when you need to target fish very far away, it's better to opt for a thin or very thin nylon (below 20/100).

To improve their casting distance, surfcasting specialists use very thin diameters nylons, often less than 20/100. The new Emblem Type-R therefore has a capacity of 300m for 18/100. This spool format limits the risks of tangling.

To improve fishing performance, Daiwa has developed a new oscillation system that reduces tangles and improves the placement of nylon on the spool. Thanks to the Slow Cross Wrap, the line comes out of the spool perfectly during casting and allows to cast further. This is a key point for thin lines, which are more fragile.

Features:
• Quick Drag fast brake system
• Ball bearings: 6 + 1
• DS4 and DS5 polycarbonate frame and rotor for greater resistance while maintaining lightness
• 3 aluminium spools
• Slow Cross Wrap dual slow oscillation winding
• Foldable aluminium handle
• HIP line clip mounted on damper, very robust for marking casting distance without risk of breakage.
Manual pickup return

Highlights:
• Slow oscillation
• Marine-proof
• 3 spools
