When one wants to fish for predator fish, you will need a rod and a reel, these will be the first 2 pieces of equipment to choose. When we talk about spinning reels for predator fishing, we can also talk about casting reels, or about lure predator fishing reels, or finally about front brake reels, all these terms refer to the same thing: a small relatively light reel that allows fishing for predators with lures: perch, zander, trout, pike and predominantly black bass. These reels exist with more or fewer ball bearings, different ratios hence different recovery speeds, more or less heavy... it's for you to decide which criteria will be essential. The best brands of predator reels are Shimano, Daïwa, Mitchell Savage Gear, Abu Garcia, and Dam Quick. On a spinning reel, the front brake has the advantage of being much more powerful, reliable, and progressive than any other system. Among predator reels, those equipped with a rear brake are few and far between, but a few models remain for fishermen loyal out of habit, find the Shimano, Daïwa or Mitchell Avocet rear brake reels.
