Larry Dahberg, like any good pike fisherman, knows that the noise of Topwater lures drives these predators completely crazy. To trigger violent strikes, Whopper Plopper mimics a low and deep noise through a propeller, generating hundreds of "plops" over a few tens of meters.
Dahlberg has put his 50 years of experience with propeller lures to good use, arriving at a noise setting as perfect as this. If the sound is very efficient, up to an octave higher compared to other lures, its design quality is also up to the mark. It is fitted with a semi-rigid tail made of very resistant plastic, linked by a stainless steel axis to its robust body, all finished with extremely rich detailing.
Whopper Plopper can be retrieved at varying speeds and during breaks, it sets itself upright, with its head protruding from the water, just like the stickbaits. Its two River2Sea triple hooks of superior quality ensure a hooking that will make some noise!
