The 3G carp rods are normal rods, but simply shorter than the usual 12 and 13 foot rods. These short carp rods range from 6 to 11 feet (1.80 to 3.30 meters) but the 10 foot carp rod, or 3.00 meters, represents the vast majority of them. They are perfect choices for boat carp fishing, for stalking or to minimize the space taken during transport for quick evening fishing sessions for example. They have become a very appreciated choice when a fisherman buys his fishing rods for carp. Care must be taken when choosing the power, indeed a shorter length will give more powerful rods if compared to 12 and 13 foot rods, so the right compromise in short rods will rather be on 3.00lbs, and not 3.5lbs like a 13 foot rod. For brands, they are the same as for the other carp rods: Fox, Nash, Daïwa and Shimano.
