This pattern is genuinely versatile for natural waters, ideal for still waters and canals, or slow-flowing rivers. The body shape is that of an elongated rugby ball, offering superb stability and an excellent body profile to give low resistance to the hooked fish and when it is struck out of the water. The high-visibility fiberglass bristles and stem diameters increase as the float sizes rise from 0.5 g to 4 g, so everything is proportioned and balanced as you step up in size.

The fiberglass tips are easy to see and are also translucent, making them visible in all lighting conditions, the fiberglass being very sensitive for detecting bites from fish of all sizes in different situations. The metal-stem versions of the float are suited to situations where stability is a priority, allowing you to keep bait super stable and static even in challenging and windy conditions. The carbon-stem version is better suited to fast fishing situations where reducing tangles is a priority during an ultra-fast session, or when you are looking to catch fish on the drop, allowing the float to “follow” the bait down as it falls through the water. The carbon itself is thin for ultimate performance, cutting through the water cleanly so you don't suffer the annoying snags when skimming the surface in calm conditions.

Available sizes (metal stem and carbon stem) : 0.5 g, 0.75 g, 1 g, 1.5 g, 2 g, 2.5 g, 3 g, 4 g.

The Guru natural pole float range explained :

This particular range of floats has been in development for a long time, and we're pretty sure you've seen various samples used by our consultants and in films for quite a while now! However, we have constantly refined and expanded the range during the design and production phase to produce a comprehensive collection of floats suited to a diverse range of work on natural venues across rivers, canals and still waters. Finally, they have arrived!

The range includes eight different models that cover many shapes and sizes, each having specific uses in different situations. You have no doubt noticed that the floats have been thoroughly tested and trialled by our team of international anglers, with personalities such as Matt Godfrey, James Dent, Steve Ringer, Frankie Gianoncelli and Andy Bennett, who have all contributed to their production. Great care and many adjustments have been made to stem and bristle lengths and diameters, so that each size is unique and perfect for the situation in question.

The key feature that sets this float range apart from anything we or others have ever produced before is the Elastilex paint finish, which gives the floats ultimate strength, durability and longevity. This finish means the float's high-quality balsa bodies are protected by an ultra-thin, incredibly durable elastic coating that wraps the body, preventing damage to the body from wear, impacts or line cuts, thereby reducing the risk of the floats taking on water. The paint finish is a dark colour, which, according to our lead anglers, was important since these floats were intended for clear, natural venues, the dark body blending into the water allowing ultimate focus on the high-visibility bristles.
