The MAGNUM DERABALL was developed exclusively at our request. Indeed, Gael Even and Thomas Vogels managed to convince the Japanese firm JACKALL of the potential of this new size. The ILLEX brand is therefore proud to announce the launch of this larger size of the DERABALL. +20% in size and volume, the MAGNUM DERABALL retains all the attributes that made this uniquely conceived lure renowned. A hybrid soft lure halfway between a crankbait and a shad, it should be classified in the soft swimbaits category. It resembles many types of prey (amphibians, small fish, rodents). This small, compact and very dense ball casts easily to long distances and skips under overhanging foliage with disconcerting ease. Animate it with a simple retrieve; its tight swimming action is a genuine stimulus that will trigger attacks from predators lying in shallow water, under vegetation cover, near a bank cavity, submerged deadwood, aquatic plant beds, lily pad fields or rocky areas... Originally conceived for fishing in shallow waters, nothing prevents you from fishing deeper by adding a Tungsten weight that must remain free. The through-line rig system known as "Line thru" allows you to pass your leader through the lure so that it can slide up the line during the fight. The clever rigging of the MAGNUM DERABALL takes the form of a premium reinforced treble hook fitted with two tied antennae to secure it and mounted on a rolling swivel to allow 360° rotation and thus minimize the risk of losing fish. This XL version of the DERABALL does everything the original size does... only bigger! Bigger silhouette, bigger vibrations, larger volume of water displaced, all of this to arouse the interest of bigger predators (pike, black-bass, big perch, catfish). A lure that is both playful and uncompromising.
