The quickest and easiest shelter to set up has been improved even further with the introduction of the extraordinary Tempest Rapid Shelter. At the centre of the tent, you'll find the famous patented hinge block, allowing for quick and easy installation. The setup time, user-friendliness, and functionality have considerably improved thanks to the patented Rapid Knuckle system which allows the five main poles to lock in a single action. Simple and secure, setting up your shelter has never been easier. Additional Rapid Shelter improvements include an integrated canopy to minimise water infiltration around the door, and its size can be increased to allow for even greater coverage with the addition of a Skull Cap. The back of the shelter has been made flatter than its predecessor, offering an optimal balance between internal storage space, the capacity to accommodate pegs, and aerodynamics. The air circulation through the shelter has been improved with the adaptive ventilation on six openings (four at the back and two at the front), promoting air flow even when it's raining. To stay cooler in the summer, the four back vents can be secured with pegs to create shaded areas, which, used with a Skull Cap, can reduce the internal temperature by several degrees. For optimal storage, there are four internal pockets, two on each side and two at the front. Those at the front include a hang loop where you can store essentials such as your receiver or even your jacket for a speedy exit in uncertain weather.
