A good Base Mix blend should meet the criteria we have set:

• Adequate nutrition.

• Good ratio of vitamins to minerals.

• Easy to digest.

• Good cohesion and hardening.

• Features that facilitate rolling.

MTC Base Mix can easily be used for the long term. Carp will keep eating this blend because it provides a complete range of essential nutrients. It's not a traditional 50/50 blend made up only of equal parts corn, soy, and wheat semolina. The blend accepts supplements up to 50%, of which 20 to 25% can be large additives (like seeds for example).

This blend can also be made without additives, using only sweetener and/or a flavour as a supplement.
