Shimano Grappler Type SLJ: The ultimate rod for light jigging enthusiasts - When precision and performance come together in light jigging. The Shimano Grappler Type SLJ is designed for very light jigging, making it the ideal choice for targeting dentex, groupers, trevally and mackerel. Available in spinning and casting versions, this rod makes it easy to fish with small- and medium-sized jigs. Its slim blank features a Moderate-Fast action, offering exceptional responsiveness and minimizing fatigue during long jigging sessions. Despite its lightness, the Grappler Type SLJ retains the backbone and strength required to fish for powerful fish at different depths.

Effortless control and smooth action - Designed for 20 to 100g jigs, the Shimano Grappler Type SLJ offers a high-performance solution for anglers specializing in light jigging techniques. This rod provides the perfect balance between sensitivity and power, with a very lightweight construction that reduces fatigue during long sessions. Its Moderate-Fast action ensures excellent control, allowing you to work your jigs precisely, whether you prefer smooth or more aggressive movements. Every lift and drop is smooth, offering the finesse required for delicate presentations while retaining enough strength to handle the sudden attacks of powerful fish. If you are looking for a rod that combines lightness and finesse without sacrificing durability, the Grappler Type SLJ is an exceptional choice.

Advanced technology to elevate your jigging game - Built with Shimano's exclusive Spiral X and Hi-Power X technologies, the Grappler Type SLJ offers some of the lightest and most sensitive blanks on the market. Spiral X construction improves torsional rigidity without adding extra weight, providing an extremely responsive action that ensures precise lure control and improves fish-fighting performance. Hi-Power X technology strengthens overall resistance and reduces blank twist during intense fights. These one-piece blanks are fitted with Fuji Alconite K-Type guides and a Fuji SiC tip guide. The spinning model is equipped with a custom CI4+ reel seat for enhanced lightness and sensitivity, while the casting model features a robust Fuji reel seat. Both models are equipped with an ergonomic, comfortable EVA handle that can be detached for easier transport.

Improve your jig fishing with the Shimano Grappler Type SLJ - When precision matches power.
