The new ZENAQ IKARI DBL rods mark a true revolution in the world of jigging. The result of the bold fusion between the IKARI blank and the DBL structure, they redefine the standards of rods intended for extreme fights.

Traditionally, heavy jigging rods were based on the idea that increased blank stiffness was necessary to control the most combative fish. However, this design often imposes an excessive physical load on the angler during the fight, quickly exhausting his strength. Not to mention that this excessive stiffness reduces control of the jigs, making bites rarer.

Conversely, while flexible rods absorb heavy loads, they often lack the power necessary to secure the catch to the end.

The FOKEETO IKARI DBL solves these problems from the outset. It allows anglers to use all types of jigs with suppleness and to control the fight even against large fish, pushing beyond the usual limits.

• Length: 5’6″ (1,67m) / Jig: 150~400g / Braid: PE #4~#8
• PE Max #8 Shock leader Max 150lb
• Recommended reel size: 3000~4000
• Target fish: category 50~70g

This casting rod dedicated to tuna of 50 to 70 kg is designed to offer precise control of jigs and direct sensitivity, characteristics of casting setups in powerful jigging.

It has a wide operating range, suitable for jigs from 150 g to 400 g, with a strong lifting capacity despite a relatively slim blank, allowing it to face various situations in heavy fishing.

Its spiral guide configuration limits the rod's twisting under heavy load, improving comfort and efficiency in the fight.
The offset starting guide (counter butt guide) aligns the line with the spool axis and reduces friction against the handle.

This entire guide setup is specially designed to optimize the performance of a casting rod in power fights during jigging.
