With TZ Maps charting, navigators control the chart data they want to download, such as incredibly large chart areas, satellite imagery and bathymetric data. Purchase chart areas directly from the multifunction display! Custom depth color shading and bathymetric data overlays create navigation charts of unmatched accuracy and clarity, rendered in a variety of color themes to provide an electronic charting experience that goes far beyond any premium chart services that came before.

You can create your own user objects or update mapped user objects, such as buoys, so that when they move from their previous charted positions they can be updated on the system on the fly. Custom objects can be shared with other TZ Maps users via the new TimeZero service, and can be turned on or off in the Layers menu, accessible with a simple swipe up from the bottom of the screen.

Purchasing any TZ MAPS area also unlocks additional features, such as the powerful AI Routing function that intelligently plans routes taking into account the vessel's draft as well as depths and navigational hazards shown on the charts. TZ Maps' BathyVision provides truly "exceptional" bathymetric data with isobaths that can be configured with a single tap. When we say configurable, we mean a resolution of only 7 cm between isobaths - that's 3 times better than any other bathymetric chart currently on the market. The bathymetric data comes from the same high-resolution database used for TZ Maps' custom depth shading and can be overlaid on navigation charts to create unique fishing charts.

Built-in Side-Scan CHIRP:
Furuno's built-in Side-Scan CHIRP in the NavNet TZtouchXL scans port to starboard, mapping the shape of bottom structures in high definition. Side-Scan CHIRP with a transducer center frequency of 230kHz or 445kHz reveals the shape of targets and fishing structures on either side of your vessel. Side-Scan CHIRP is integrated into the TZT10X/13X/16X and can be displayed by any NavNet TZtouchXL on the network.

The NavNet TZtouchXL series has all the features anglers want, including exclusive and unprecedented functions. The TZT10X, TZT13X and TZT16X include a 1kW TruEcho™ CHIRP or CW sounder as well as a 230kHz or 455kHz Side-Scan CHIRP to display fish and bottom structures in minute detail from port to starboard, providing crucial information for successful fishing outings. The image will also be available on TZT22X and TZT24X when networked with TZT10X, TZT13X and TZT16X.

Deep-water multibeam sounder:
Typical sounders have a beam angle of 40° or less. But with the DFF3D multibeam sounder, you'll see a 120° swath, offering seabed coverage up to 3 times the water depth. Additionally, thanks to the DFF3D's power, you can see fish directly under the boat at 300 m. The DFF3D's versatile operating modes allow you to better understand fish movement relative to your boat. 3D history provides an intuitive, easy-to-understand 3D image of the seabed, as well as school icons - useful for selecting a fishing spot or assessing seabed conditions. The triple-beam mode not only tells you depth but also direction (port/Water Column/starboard) of fish targets. The cross-section displays real-time water column echo in a 120° swath, and side-scan shows the shape and structure of targets to port and starboard.
