For technical bottom fishing, discover the SP M117 Competition float. This new 2026 release from Garbolino, part of the wide SP M family, was designed and validated by Stéphane Pottelet, and it stands out as a must-have for long-pole fishing. The SP M117 is instantly recognisable thanks to its ball shape, traditionally known for exceptional stability, even in chop, light currents or windy conditions. Made from balsa with a strong metal keel and a micro eyelet, it ensures perfect balance for the most precise rigs.

This float is essential for technical bottom fishing in deep stillwaters (over 2.5 m) and in slow-flowing rivers. Finesse and balance are at the heart of its design: the ultra-thin fibreglass antenna (0.7 to 0.8 mm) provides excellent sensitivity, allowing you to detect the most delicate bites, particularly when tow-fishing where species such as roach and bream can be especially cautious. As with the entire match series, the colour code at the base of this Garbolino float ensures quick identification of its weight. It is your best ally when conditions require finesse and stability.

• balsa competition float with eyelet
• ball shape
• metal keel
• micro eyelet
• 0.7 to 0.8 mm fibreglass antenna
• colour code at the base of the float to identify its weight at a glance
• stable and highly sensitive float
• ideal for tow-fishing in stillwaters and canals when fish are cautious
• essential for technical bottom fishing in deep stillwaters (> 2.5 m) and slow-flowing rivers
