float specially designed for probing with a Bolognese rod, thanks to an ingenious system of movable rings placed on the keel. can be used as a classic Bolognese float once locked on the line.
• keel : fiber
• antenna : hollow plastic
• attachment : 2-point sliding

user manual :
• thread the line through all the guides (eyelet next to the antenna then the 3 guides located on the keel)
• put a weight greater than the float's weight on the line located below the float
• cast everything to the chosen area
• the float will rise to the surface (when you have mastered the principle it will be possible to play with the speed at which the float rises by turning the second ring from half to a full turn)
• put the line under tension, then retrieve it while taking care to keep the line taut, because at the slightest slack the float will slide toward the weight and you will have to repeat the operation to obtain the exact depth.
• take the float in hand and make several turns around the keel with guide no2 so as to lock the line (at least 6 to 7 turns).
• you can then cast again to probe the area and refine the adjustment. however, if by chance you want to adjust the depth manually to get the perfect setting, you will need to turn guide no2 in the opposite direction so that you can slide the float as you wish (up or down) then repeat the locking operation explained in point • no6 so as to avoid any slipping of the float during the cast.
