Although these floats have similar properties to the Skimmer in terms of stems, bristles and sensitivity, it is the body shape that sets them apart, these having a much rounder profile. This gives the float ultimate stability and allows it to be easily controlled in flowing water conditions, perfect for use on rivers.

The body shape means that the float can be held static or held against the current to achieve a certain type of presentation in moving water, slowing the bait without the float body riding out of the water. Because of the rounder body shape of this model, if the line passes around the outside of the body at a sharp angle, this can damage the line, particularly when moving the float up or down. To overcome this problem, these floats are fitted with an inline system with a small piece of silicone running through the float, thus completely eliminating line damage.

The metal-stem versions of the float are suited to situations where stability is a priority, allowing you to keep a bait super-stable and static even in difficult and windy conditions. The carbon-stem version is better suited to fast fishing situations where reducing tangles is a priority during quick in-and-out sessions, or when you're looking to catch fish on the drop, allowing the float to "follow" the shot down as it falls through the water. The carbon itself is thin for ultimate performance, cutting through the water cleanly so you don't get awkward delays when skimming over the surface in calm conditions.

Available sizes (metal stem and carbon stem) : 0,5 g, 0,75 g, 1 g, 1,5 g, 2 g, 2,5 g, 3 g, 4 g.

Explanation of the Guru Natural Pole float range:

This particular range of floats has been in development for a long time; we're pretty sure you've seen various samples used by our consultants and in films for quite a while now! However, we have constantly refined and expanded the range during the design and production phase in order to produce a comprehensive collection of floats suited to a diverse range of work on natural venues across rivers, canals and still waters. Finally, they have arrived!

The range includes eight different models covering many shapes and sizes, each having specific uses in different situations. You will no doubt have noticed that the floats have been thoroughly tried and tested by our team of international anglers, with personalities such as Matt Godfrey, James Dent, Steve Ringer, Frankie Gianoncelli and Andy Bennett all contributing to their production. A great deal of thought and many tweaks have gone into the lengths and diameters of the stems and bristles, so that each size is unique and perfect for the situation in question.

The key feature that sets this range of floats apart from anything we or others have ever produced before is the Elastilex paint finish, which gives the floats ultimate strength, durability and longevity. This finish means that the float's high-quality balsa bodies are protected by an ultra-thin, incredibly durable elastic coating that wraps the body, preventing any damage to the body from wear, impacts or line cuts, thereby reducing the risk of the floats taking on water. The paint finish is dark in colour, which, according to our lead anglers, was important since these floats are used on clear, natural venues, the dark body blending into the water allowing ultimate focus on the high-visibility bristles.

Features:
• Round body profile
• Ultimate stability
• Inline system to prevent line damage
• Carbon and wire versions
