how to select the right hdi transducer?
the rule is quite simple! the 50/200hdi transducer is recommended for sea use and the 83/200hdi transducer for freshwater. there is no risk using an 83/200khz transducer at sea and vice versa! it's just a matter of depth between each transducer depending on the frequency used.
how to use your hdi transducer correctly?
for 2d fishfinder mode, each frequency opens a detection cone on the bottom that is more or less wide.
the high 200khz frequency opens a narrow, precise cone for vertical fishing and the lower 50 and/or 83khz frequency allows you to reach greater depths and/or to open a wide cone in shallow waters.
for hdi downscan mode at 455 and 800khz, it's an illumination of the bottom that varies depending on the frequency used. 800khz approx. 0 to 25m and 455khz beyond.

eagle is supplied with a worldwide base map preloaded without details and offers the possibility of an upgrade to cmap® discover™.
thanks to genesis live, you can create custom bathymetric maps of your favorite lake or of still unexplored waters, with formidable precision and in real time, with all the details you need to discover and navigate faster to the best fishing spots. a simple blank micro SD card from stores of up to 32GB is required to activate the genesis live function on the mapping page.
eagle features a new analog IPS display offering improved resolution, clarity and visibility, even when you wear polarized sunglasses in full sunlight.
new color palettes allow you to adapt the display when facing changing conditions.
