Marine VHF Radio GX6000E, with integrated NMEA 2000 and AIS Class B!
Standard Horizon's GX6000E is a Fixed VHF with an AIS receiver and integrated GPS antenna. Compatible with NMEA0183 and NMEA2000, it offers DSC, AIS, GPS and ATIS (on programming) functions.
Featuring very good quality technical features and versatility, it also has an intuitive and easy-to-use menu. The GX6000 has an integrated bi-channel AIS receiver. The NMEA2000 and NMEA0183 interfaces make it easy to integrate this VHF into the onboard network.
Channel selection is done by a rotary button. The front keyboard has programmable keys that can be adapted to everyone's needs.
The high-resolution backlit LCD screen is easy to read in all ambient lighting conditions. The built-in noise reduction device ensures good audio quality when transmitting and receiving voices. Audio messages can be recorded for up to two minutes.
AIS AND GPS RECEIVER The Quantum GX6000 displays AIS target information (MMSI, call sign, ship name, BRG, DST, SOG and COG) on the large screen on the front face. This information allows you to directly contact an AIS ship using the DSC function, displays the position of your ship relative to AIS targets and alerts you when an AIS ship is getting too close to your position via the closest point of approach (CPA) alarm.
COMPATIBLE WITH NEW RAM4 COMBINED The handset, equipped with a device to eliminate unwanted noise, has shortcut keys to change channels, adjust 5W/25W transmission power and quick access to channel 16.The GX1850G fixed VHF is also compatible with an optional remote handset, wireless or wired, to control all the main radio functions remotely. An interesting function to equip a second helm station on your sailboat or motorboat. Plus, you will have access to the Intercom function to communicate between the main radio and this second remote handset.
Built-in 25 watt speaker Switch to horn mode by selecting one of the preprogrammed signals, with siren and horn functions.
Built-in Voice Scrambler 32-code internal voice scrambler for private communications. Simply select a channel to scramble, then select a common code between transmitting and receiving radios to secure your communications.
