mainline clones have been designed to offer you a durable bait that can be used on a particle bed and that will match it perfectly in terms of colour and flavour.

The main objective of the clones is, as their name suggests, to ‘clone’ the elements of your baiting mix with a more durable and convenient bait.

This is particularly useful with certain particles that are sometimes too small or too soft to be properly hooked and to stay on your hair rig over time – such as sweetcorn, for example.

The clones are available in 4 different types/flavours, either as 13mm pop-ups or as 10x14 mm wafters, and although they were initially designed to be used on a bed of particles, they proved effective in every situation during our tests.

nutty hemp:
Hempseed is one of the most attractive seeds for fish and carp love to eat this very fatty seed, to the point that you even see oil spots on the surface when they feed on your spot! Hempseed is also visually attractive: although it is brown/black in colour, the small white sprout that sticks out from the seeds makes it very visible on the bottom. To best imitate this, the clones hemp pop-ups and wafters are two-tone, black with a little white.

maple:
The maple pea is a seed that has often been forgotten but is nonetheless very attractive because of its colour and its sweet character.
The mapple clones pop-ups and wafters are brown in colour with that sweet, characteristic maple pea aroma.

sweetcorn:
Sweetcorn has been used as bait since the 1970s and over the years it has helped catch countless fish and remains a must even today – its popularity has even been growing recently.
The clones sweetcorn pop-ups and wafters are bright yellow and come with that characteristic sweetcorn aroma.
They are really excellent baits for fishing over a bed of the “golden seed”.

tiger nut:
There is no doubt that carp love tiger nuts! Their crunchy, very sweet side comes through once prepared and they have a nutty flavour that makes them truly unique.
The clones tiger nut pop-ups and wafters are off-white with darker flecks and simply smell like real tiger nuts.

They are perfect for use on a bed of crushed tigers (such as the power particle nut crush) or on a bed of regular particles if the use of tigers is banned where you fish.
