The Tusker Kayak is an extremely robust inflatable pedal kayak. Compared with rigid kayak models, the Tusker offers better buoyancy and significantly greater stability, ensuring excellent comfort. This means you can fish standing up without any problems. Thanks to its excellent stability, it allows you to adopt a raised and very comfortable sitting position. We have of course also considered how easy it should be to access the water's surface with your hands (to handle things, tap the water, etc.). You can move the seat using the rails. Whether you are 1.50 m or 2.10 m tall, you will always be able to pedal comfortably. Thanks to its high buoyancy, spacious storage area and numerous attachment loops with expandable straps, you can take plenty of bags and other fishing accessories on the Tusker kayak. Another advantage of the Tusker is its maneuverability. Thanks to the immediate responsiveness of the steering, you always remain in control of your kayak, even in strong winds and waves. You can also choose to mount the steering lever on the left or right. Of course, you can paddle forwards or backwards. A pleasant and easy-to-achieve cruising speed is 4 to 5 km/h. By accelerating, however, you can reach speeds of 8 km/h and more. Other decisive advantages over rigid plastic kayaks are its low weight and compact dimensions. For example, you can transport the Tusker kayak effortlessly in any small car. To transport it from the car to more distant places where you will launch your kayak, we recommend the Tusker Kayak Trolley (see Accessories below). Thanks to the attachment of up to 4 standardized kayak rails (included in the delivery), you have many options for installing various accessories. You can also attach a mount and accessories to the pedal propulsion system. You will find a whole range of accessories in our shop (see the “Tusker Kayak & Accessories” category). This allows you to quickly and easily adapt the Tusker kayak to your individual needs, without having to carry out laborious gluing work as is the case with belly kayaks or inflatable kayaks. CONTENTS OF DELIVERY: board, folding seat, propulsion system, steering unit, length-adjustable paddle, high-pressure double-action pump, board bag, propulsion system bag, seat bag and other accessories, 4 accessory rails, rope, repair kit, spare parts, tools, assembly instructions NOTE: the chair is connected to the high-pressure air floor by a complex structure comprising the 2 outer air chambers. If one of the three chambers deflates following damage, the Tusker kayak should retain sufficient buoyancy. This safety aspect was particularly important to us. Important: while a completely deflated outer tube does not pose a major problem, even under a heavy load, you should try to reach the shore quickly if the central high-pressure air floor is damaged. Nevertheless, we recommend always wearing a life jacket. RECOMMENDATION In this detailed 30-minute video, we present the Tusker kayak in detail.
