single hook without barb for spoon. cutting point.

medium wire hook without barb. do not unbalance the smallest lures and spoons (trout, small predators)

owner single hooks for lures have the following characteristics :
• a ring formed in line with the shank so that the hook is aligned with the lure.
• an oversized ring for perfect freedom on the split ring and easier installation
• a black chrome finish that is more discreet (absence of reflections) and resistant to corrosion
• versions with reduced barb (s75bm) and without barb (s55blm et s75blm) for even less injury to the fish.
• two versions:
- medium wire for the s55 blm: better penetration. do not unbalance small lures
- heavy wire s75 m and s75blm: more resistant to opening for larger fish. their weight compensates for the absence of trebles.

switching to single hooks for your hard lures (lures, spoons, casting jigs, etc.) offers multiple benefits :
• causes less harm to the fish than trebles. perfect for catch’n release!
• a single hook snags less in cluttered environments (weeds, branches, rocks, etc.)
• a single point penetrates hard cartilage better (principle of the assist hook for jigs)
• lure paint is less damaged than with trebles.

tip : to replace your trebles with singles, we recommend that the width of the single hook match that of the lure body. note that in some cases the hook size still needs to be increased (stocky lures or those with three trebles). in the case of lures fitted with three trebles : if you want to fit only two singles, you will need to go three sizes up from the original trebles. here is a trebles / singles conversion table for your lures.

we recommend mounting the belly single with the point facing forward and the tail single facing backward.
