the speed stop ready rig hooklink has an optimal hair length, specially designed to present perfectly most of the baits most commonly used. the hair ends with a speed stop that securely locks the bait. there is also a small piece of 0,3 mm micro-silicone on the hook shank, intended to keep the bait in place and to ensure the rig works correctly.

this version uses the smwg hook, extremely popular, with a ptfe coating that provides a very sharp and durable point. these hooks are perfectly suited to a wide variety of fish species and fishing techniques, such as feeder fishing, bomb fishing, and even some long-rod situations.

using the speed stop is simple and quick: just insert a speed stop needle into the thicker end of the stop, then pass the fine end through the bait, making sure the stop goes completely through the bait and lies flat against it. then remove the needle, and the bait is perfectly presented and ready to use. all smwg hooks are coated with ptfe, which considerably improves their durability, sharpness and longevity.

the hooklinks are available in lengths of 4 inches (about 10 cm) and 15 inches (about 38 cm), covering a wide range of fishing situations and bait presentations. the 4-inch models are pre-mounted on our reliable hooklink boards. the 15-inch models are pre-mounted on our easy-to-use hooklink spools, perfectly compatible with guru hooklink boxes, which makes storage easier and improves efficiency.

for sizes 10, 12 and 14, we have enhanced the line diameter options to offer even more choice in these larger sizes (see the size chart below for details). all our ready rigs are rigged with our n-gauge line, tested and approved for many years by recreational, pole and competitive anglers.
