Set off for excellence with the MEGA PACK LIVE HUMMINBIRD for exceptional images and a unique on-water experience searching for your favorite fish !!!
The long-awaited new arrival from HUMMINBIRD with the XPLORE 9 MSI+.
The new XPLORE GPS series with a touchscreen paired with its new MSI+ transducer for a power of 1000w and advanced connectivity for an incredible experience and compatibility with the new MEGA LIVE 2 transducer !!
A Touchscreen? :
A touchscreen with a completely redesigned interface and an ultra MEGA fast processor !!!
A New Mega Side Imaging+ and Mega Down Imaging+ transducer?
Although the Xplore monitor is still capable of using 800 kHz, the transducers supplied with the Xplore (SH-A-140T) no longer include the 800 kHz frequency. This frequency was little used because on significant depths 455 kHz is essential while in very shallow depths the MEGA IMAGING+ frequencies are unbeatable. The transmit power of the Xplore remains 1000w RMS like the Helix and Solix.
Software compatibility and connectivity :
The Xplore series uses the same software as the Apex series and benefits from the same screw-in connectors, ensuring increased robustness and reliability.
Two microSD ports are present on the front.
Networking :
Xplore GPS fishfinders can be networked with the Solix G3 and Apex models, offering optimal flexibility and integration for users. Networking components include WiFi, Bluetooth and an Ethernet port.
It has a single ETHERNET port; it will be necessary to install an optional ETHERNET HUB reference AS-ETH5PGL in order to pair a Mega live transducer and another compatible display.
Compatibility of the MEGA LIVE 1 AND 2 transducers
• An Ethernet port allows connecting the MEGA LIVE 1 transducer and/or the new generation MEGA LIVE 2 whose performance is significantly superior.
• NMEA 2000 network to support virtually all NMEA 2000 data and accessories, such as engine information, consumption data, speed, wind and atmospheric data.
• Bluetooth and Wi‑Fi communication to support Humminbird and Minn Kota accessories, as well as the Navionics functionality.
• HDMI input and output for connecting a camera and sending the image to an external screen.
• Compatible with ONE-BOAT NETWORK offering control of Minn Kota i-Pilot Link electric motors and/or GPS and jackplate anchors, as well as Cannon Optimum winches.
• Compatible with the CHIRP Humminbird radar, Fusion audio systems, autopilot, VHF radio systems and CZone digital switching devices.

User guide
The new HUMMINBIRD Mega Live transducer moves to version 2.0, bringing significant improvements:
New electronics and new design :
Everything has been redesigned to offer superior performance, including a new design and updated electronics.
It is even suitable for sea use !!!
Survey modes :
The probe modes evolve with four exploitation possibilities for the MEGA LIVE 2 transducer.
A DOWN (downward view) view — the ideal view for VertiLive and/or pelagic fishing in open water.
A FORWARD (forward view) view — intended for prospecting at distance to discreetly detect and see your lure several meters from the boat.
A LANDSCAPE (panoramic view) — a wide forward view to gather information around the boat in shallow water.
Open Water/TargetBoost : To be used for pelagic fishing, this mode emphasizes spotting fish located between two depths.
Greater Range :
With this new mode called "Open Water", the Mega Live 2 transducer provides increased visibility up to 45 m, allowing better sighting of lures on the screen, even at distance.
Improved image stability and resolution with 15 color palettes available
Compatibility :
With its increased performance, Only the Xplore, Solix G3, and Apex series will have sufficient power to exploit this new transducer which, in the absence of a black box, requires a processor with high computational capacity.
WARNING, the MEGA LIVE 2 transducer is not compatible with the HELIX fishfinder series
Power supply of the MEGA LIVE transducer in 12V
Power supply advice :
The MEGA LIVE 2 transducer must be powered at 12V in addition to your fishfinder. You must provide enough current in Amps on your 12V battery for good autonomy over a full day.
It is recommended to install a switch and/or a circuit breaker on the power supply of your MEGA LIVE transducer so you can cut it off during transport on the water.
Mounting possible directly on the prop shaft of ULTREX AND FORTREX motors.
Installation advice for Mega live transducer :
To get the most out of the MEGA LIVE 2 transducer, it is recommended to use the adjustable PIKE'N BASS transducer pole offered in the long 2 m version reference 410170 for sea use, the intermediate 1.90 m version reference 410168 for sea and/or fresh water use and in the short PIKE'N BASS 1 m versions reference 410169/410190 and 410191 for fresh water.
This transducer pole allows quick deployment of your transducer and 360° orientation to optimize the view on your screen in all circumstances. It folds easily into the horizontal position to allow you to leave your complete installation safely on your boat during high-speed navigation but also on the road during transport.
For navigation with a petrol engine and at high speed, you must fold your pole well into the horizontal position to avoid any risk of damage and thus protect your transducer.
Warning !! If you need to raise your transducer out of the water, remember to turn off the transducer PING on your screen so as not to run it out of the water.
