The 580 concept:
Costa Del Mar’s patented polarised glass and ‘’580TM’’ polycarbonate block yellow light spectres whose frequency approaches 580TM nanometres. Indeed, yellow spectrums are the most straining for the eyes. They also limit the blue spectrum to reduce the 'blur' sensation. On the contrary, the 580TM increases the visual volume of red and green with the result being improved contrasts and less eye strain, whatever the light conditions.

The LightWAVE 580G Glass :
The LightWAVETM 580G glass is 20% slimmer and 22% lighter than other glasses offered by our competitors. Practically scratch-proof, the LightWAVETM glass will give you years of perfect vision, even in the harshest usage conditions. 100% polarising and 100% UV Block

The C-WALL 580P Polycarbonate:
580P polycarbonate is lighter than glass and virtually unbreakable. Even in the event of a violent shock, 580P polycarbonate will never crack. The C-WALLTM coating applied to 580P polycarbonate lenses increases scratch resistance, repels water, grease (particularly present on fingers) and dust. 100% polarising and 100% UV Block.


Co-injected frames:
Costa frames are made with extremely strong and durable TR-90 nylon. TM-90 nylon is co-injected with HydroliteTM coating. This hypoallergenic silicone provides great comfort and prevents glasses from slipping, even in hot and humid weather.
