The highly innovative x-slow leveline technology from penn allows the reel to make 50 turns of line for a single spool oscillation. This results in the line being wound perfectly on the spool, thereby facilitating long, accurate casts. It is for this reason that penn named this system rocket spool design. No fewer than 9+1 ball bearings make up this reel, giving it very smooth operation and excellent line lay during a cast or a fight. The sealed drag also prevents impurities from lodging inside the mechanism.
