The Sedona range includes models for everything from light freshwater to heavier saltwater fish, thanks to improved drag power and higher gear ratios. The 8000 model incorporates Shimano's more durable Cross Carbon drag to cope with more powerful species.
To maximize casting distance and improve line management, the Sedona uses Shimano's Varispeed II winding system, which prevents the line from snagging on the spool. The AR-C aluminium spool minimizes line friction during the cast. And just when you thought things couldn't get better, the Sedona also features an aluminium handle for increased strength and reduced weight. Proof that even though the Sedona is very affordable, no detail has been overlooked in its design and construction.
