The Bassterra XT+ Shore Jigging offers a powerful blend of performance and value, designed for anglers who demand distance and control from the shore. Built for working metal jigs along beaches and rocky coastlines, its moderate-fast action also makes it highly effective with large minnows and surface lures.

More and more anglers are discovering just how effective metal jigs can be when used with a lively, horizontal retrieve. But success often comes down to one key factor: casting distance. This is where the Bassterra XT+ Shore Jigging really excels. Designed for long-distance casting, it effortlessly sends jigs and larger lures deep into the strike zone. The responsive tip brings every retrieve to life, creating an action that predatory fish find hard to ignore. And its versatility doesn’t end at the shore – it’s just as at home on a boat, ideal for targeting fast pelagic species such as tuna at range. If you’re looking for serious casting power combined with precise lure control, this is the rod for you.

At the heart of the Bassterra XT+ Shore Jigging is a powerful high-modulus Full Carbon blank, reinforced with Diaflash for added strength and durability. This construction creates an ideal balance between casting power and responsiveness, allowing you to achieve impressive distances while retaining the sensitivity needed for effective lure work. The moderate-fast action provides plenty of tip speed for easy lure casting, while the reinforced butt section provides the backbone needed to control strong, fast fish in demanding conditions. Whether fishing over reefs, rocks or open shoreline, the rod gives you the confidence to stay in control throughout the fight.

To support its casting performance, the rod is fitted with Fuji K-Type stainless-steel Alconite guides, ensuring smooth, reliable line flow and reducing the risk of tangles during powerful casts or slack-line retrieves. A Fuji VSS reel seat with a secure locking nut keeps your reel firmly in place, while the ergonomic split EVA handle offers comfort and grip during long sessions. The result is a rod that not only performs to a high standard, but also feels balanced, reliable and ready for action.
