The Beastmaster Pilk is a rod specially designed for jigging for cod, pollack and halibut in the waters of Northern Europe, although it is also capable of targeting the same species using very large soft lures. Built on a Full Carbon High Modulus blank with Diaflash technology in the butt section for greater strength, the moderate-fast action is perfect for animating pilk lures across a wide range of depths and currents.

Fishing in the cold waters of the North Sea or the Baltic Sea with jigs or large soft lures targeting big cod, pollack and even small-to-medium halibut requires a specific approach that can deliver remarkable results. If that is your preferred fishery, you need a rod designed specifically for it, and few match the prowess of the Beastmaster Pilk. Light, slim and very easy to use, you will certainly appreciate the combination of strength, responsiveness and power of the Beastmaster Pilk range when you send your lures into the deep, mysterious waters of Northern Europe.

The High Modulus Full Carbon blanks of the Beastmaster Pilk range have a moderate-fast action and are remarkably well balanced and light, which not only allows effective fishing with heavy jigs but also reduces fatigue and therefore makes the fishing action more enjoyable. The addition of Diaflash technology in the rod's butt also increases the power reserve to pull big fish off the bottom when they are holding. To cope with the extreme pressure exerted on the rod when landing large fish, all models are equipped with Seaguide rings in stainless steel with titanium oxide and a sturdy Shimano DPS reel seat on an EVA handle. To further improve functionality, a rubber butt cap is fitted for more comfort during fights.
