This round metal balance is placed directly on the bottom with bait in its centre to attract crayfish. By lifting the balance, the upper hoop is raised, creating a pocket from which the crayfish cannot escape. Recommended bait: meat, dead freshwater or sea fish, fruit, vegetable, pellets, etc.

Note that the transport of live crayfish is forbidden. Regarding the regulated mesh size of the balance net, this varies from one department to another, please check with the local fishing federations.
