the dahlberg clackin' crayfish is a very realistic lure with a detailed design, intended to reproduce exactly the movements and characteristics of a crayfish.

if soft-crayfish imitations are countless, rigid models are rarer. larry dahlberg, the famous angler, "lure designer" and American TV host, seriously looked into the matter, aware of the enormous interest all predators have in crustaceans.

there are many lures that look like a crayfish when they are still, but they "don't act like a crayfish" when you move them. now, that's been achieved!

made of a soft thorax and a rigid ABS abdomen, the dahlberg clackin' crayfish is fitted with an articulated tail-beater that gives it an undulating backward swim, like that of a real fleeing crayfish! when retrieved slowly along the bottom, the effect is even more surprising! at rest the claws float and lift off the bottom to give a defensive appearance that always draws predators' attention. the single hook is protected by a weedproof hood to target predators in cluttered bottoms!

dahlberg clackin' crayfish can be worked like a jig, crank, jerkbait or by twitching. you have to see it to believe it!
