At the dawn of its twentieth year, illex has lost none of its dna and marks the return of the nitro range to the catalogue. This new series of rods, specially dedicated to tracking saltwater predators, from shore as well as onboard (boat or kayak), takes up the brand's dna from its beginnings. Composed of eight new models covering all sea fishing techniques — hard lures, soft lures or jigging. No compromise has been made on quality; all the rods benefit from rigorously selected high-end components: high-modulus Japanese toray blank, alconite guides and fuji reel seats combined with high-density eva foam. Performance in fishing situations is paired with a sober, pared-back aesthetic. Technical and accomplished, the nitro range was conceived and developed for the specific needs of our European sea anglers.

The nitro s 210 mh blue lightning is a very versatile rod for onboard sea fishing. Developed to target bass or pollack when casting hard lures from 10 to 35g: surface lures (bonnie 95, 107 and 128, riser bait 008, chatterbeast 110); hardbaits (water monitor 95, stream ripper 90 and 110, rerange series), blade-type lures (runner blade 90 and 115) or soft lures rigged up to 25g for straight retrieves or traction (nitro shad 90 and 120, nitro slim shad 110 and 150, magic slim shad 5 and 7, dexter shad 110), present your nitro slim shad 180 vertically in 20 to 30 meters of water or work your jig up to 120g. This rod is paired with the latest generation of fuji components. fuji alconite 'k' guides eliminate any risk of your line tangling in the guides during casts, whatever the conditions encountered. The vss reel seat will ensure comfort and an optimal grip throughout your fishing session! This rod is supplied with a screen-printed cover.
