The long-awaited return of the Major Craft Crostage Survive.

The Major Craft Crostage Survive series makes its triumphant return. A flagship model in the Crostage range and much-loved by anglers before it was discontinued, this series is back in an exclusive version for the international market, with an updated finish and reinforced components. Major Craft has incorporated blue metal details and 4-axis carbon parts, creating a rod that is more technical, responsive and visually refined.

Designed for modern lure fishing, the Crostage Survive rods retain the qualities behind the success of the Crostage series: reliable, high-performance and accessible rods that meet the needs of demanding anglers. This new generation covers a wide range of saltwater applications, from rockfishing and ajing to hard rock fishing, seabass, light game, travel and micro-jigging. The range is officially rated for saltwater use, both from the shore and from a boat.

The series’ main strength lies in its construction. The 4-axis carbon provides greater blank stability, reduces unwanted twisting and improves casting accuracy as well as lure control while fishing. The result is a range of more responsive rods with greater power under load, while retaining the sensitivity needed to detect bites, read the seabed and work different types of lures precisely. Several specialist retailers also highlight the improved control and stability afforded by the 4-axis construction.

In terms of components, Major Craft has opted for dependable fittings, with Fuji Alconite guides and Fuji VSS, IPS or DPS reel seats, depending on the model. These technical choices ensure good compatibility with fine braided lines, smooth line flow, durability in use and welcome comfort during long sessions. The range also stands out with its blue metal finishes, which enhance its visual identity and give it a more premium look.

With this return, Major Craft offers a complete, modern and well-balanced range that will appeal both to anglers nostalgic for the original Crostage and to those looking for a high-performance, well-equipped and versatile Japanese rod. The Crostage Survive lives up to its name: a series that is back stronger and more technical, ready to take on the demanding conditions of saltwater lure fishing.

Major Craft Crostage Survive: the return of a cult series, reimagined for modern anglers.
