The Hitch Hiker fastening spring is an ingenious accessory that provides perfect retention and centering of the soft lure on a Texas-style hook with an in-line eyelet. The soft lure is screwed in from the front onto this helical spring, thereby ensuring an ideal hold.

With a classic Texas hook, the lure is held only by a small area on the bend of the hook. It is therefore common for this part to tear under the pressure of the current, during the cast, or during a missed strike – which renders the soft lure unusable. The lure can also slide along the shank. It then becomes completely ineffective and you end up spoiling the spot unnecessarily.

With the Hitch Hiker, the lure is perfectly secured and stays in place even under the greatest strain. It prevents the lure from tearing and allows you to keep it intact for much longer. You can now put more power into your casts without fear to reach productive spots. Its articulation at the Texas hook's eyelet also ensures good flexing of the soft lure under the pressure of the predator's jaw and thus enables optimal release of the hook point.

The Hitch Hiker adapts to all types of soft lures and to all Texas rigs with an in-line eyelet (with or without weighting on the shank) as it is available in two sizes: M (14 mm) and L (18 mm). An essential accessory for all your Texas rig setups that you won't be able to do without!
