Built with Shimano’s most advanced carbon technology, the Power Aero Surf features stiff, powerful blanks designed with a single purpose: to propel your casts to unrivaled distances. With an ultra-fast action and sensational tip recovery, every cast is a combination of power and precision, pushing the limits of the impossible while maintaining pinpoint accuracy. Available in all the usual lengths and with two ring options (Fuji K-Type or Low-Rider), when it’s time to raise your game and impress the competition, there is only one choice: the Power Aero Surf.

The secret of the Power Aero’s performance lies in the carbon technology used. The dynamic combination of Spiral X Core and Hi-Power X ushers in a new era of casting supremacy, maximizing the power of the lead during the cast. The Spiral X Core reduces overall weight and increases rod speed, ideal for extreme casts that push the limits. But that’s not all: its unrivaled power and torsional stiffness ensure that every ounce of force is transmitted from the base of the rod to the tip with unfailing precision. The Hi-Power X construction uses different layers of carbon to eliminate blank twist under pressure, offering a more direct application of power. Available in several versions, including models with Fuji K-Type or Low-Rider rings and a Fuji DPS reel seat, all rods are equipped with the Shimano Cast Control Grip to ensure a firm hold with the lower hand during the cast.
