The Sonora SW Match range is specially designed for float fishing in saltwater in ports, marinas and from rocky shores. The responsive blank has a beautiful progressive curve and offers excellent fishing action when targeting smaller saltwater species such as mullet and sea bream.

If you enjoy saltwater float fishing in the calm waters of ports, marinas or even from rocky shores, the attractive Sonora SW Match will appeal to you enormously. Offering excellent value for money and available in 3-piece or telescopic versions, the Sonora has a tip action that will allow you to cast light floats a good distance, using an underarm or overhead technique, while increasing your enjoyment of catching smaller saltwater species. If you live near the sea or are an angler who enjoys fishing close to your holiday accommodation, the Sonora SW Match will certainly provide you with many hours of pleasure.

The blank of the Sonoara SW Match is made from a composite material that offers strength and sensitivity in equal measure. With an action similar to that of a slightly reinforced freshwater float rod, the Sonora is available in lengths of 4.20 m (14') and 4.50 m (15ft), allowing you to reach obstacles close to the shore, both above and below the water. The additional length also increases casting performance when you need to fish farther from the bank. To facilitate line flow during casting, lightweight Shimano Hardlite guides are fitted to the slim blank, which is finished with an EVA handle and a DPS reel seat.
