this vertical lure is jerked in short pulls with the rod, then released in a controlled manner. during the retrieve, its broader belly causes a high-frequency vibration that can be felt throughout the rod. during the descent phase, the vertical jig wobbles seductively downward if you find the right speed. it is this high-frequency vibration during feeding that makes the vertical jig so irresistible to catfish. catfish are often attracted even from a great distance and provoked into striking. thanks to the two hooks and the fairly small size of the lures, missed bites are very rare. a robust powder coating reliably protects the metal and makes the lure taken with less suspicion. the vertical jig also works perfectly in combination with Wallon wood. black & white - contrasts for catfish fishing: as the theme of contrasts is becoming increasingly important for catfish fishing, we decided to market our most common lures in different variants. in addition to our standard company green, which has proven itself and is very conspicuous, our range now includes discreet black versions and highly contrasting white versions. wallers do not see colors, but they can, to some extent, perceive contrasts. many specialists use this knowledge and, when choosing their artificial lures, pay attention to the contrast that forms underwater with dark or light colors depending on the conditions.
