The sardine is one of the most versatile and attractive baits in both the Atlantic and the Mediterranean. Mediterranean sardines are smaller than their Atlantic cousins. Caught by seine and frozen at 30° a few hours after being taken out of the water, our sardines are ideally fresh (hook resistance, attractiveness). To be used both in fillets or pieces (bream, whiting, grey sea bream, etc) and whole for larger fish (bass, conger, sea bream, lean, bonito, etc). It is also a bait that is increasingly used to fish for squid with cage or needle jigs: formidable effectiveness on beautiful subjects!
