The Yasei Aspius was specifically designed for this unique silver-sided predator and has all the technical features required to pursue it. The Yasei Aspius is a long-distance fishing rod with a fast action; it will put your lures in front of fish that other rods cannot reach.

If you fish for asp, you already know that you need balanced gear for long casts that allows you to cast at range. This is especially true on large rivers, where fish are often in the faster current, far from the bank. These are the exact parameters for which the Yasei Aspius rod was designed: to be very light and to cast far. At 2.70 m long, the fast action of this special rod allows you to cast a wide range of lures from 10 to 35 g to exceptional distances, enabling you to cover a lot of water. And when you get an aggressive strike, especially when using surface lures, the rod's fighting action absorbs pressure to prevent break-offs or hook pulls. To achieve the maximum distance from this masterpiece, and to make fishing more controlled, it is recommended to use a size 4000 spinning reel, or one of the compact size 5000 bodies to create an optimal balance.

At the heart of the Yasei Aspius is a High Modulus Full Carbon blank built with Hi-Power X technology and Nano Alloy. This reduces blank twist during the cast, which not only increases casting distance but also improves accuracy if you cast toward fish-holding structures, such as bridge piers. The reduction of blank twist also benefits fish fighting, as fighting pressure is applied more directly along the length of the rod, which increases power and preserves the integrity of the bend.
To further improve long-range casts and overall performance, the rod is fitted with recently designed Fuji Alconite K-type guides. They are lightweight and help avoid any tangle issues at the start of the cast by smoothing the line into the first guide

In line with the high-quality design, a Fuji reel seat is mounted on the custom split-handle EVA grip, giving this rod a modern, eye-catching appearance that matches its brilliant fishing performance.
