The Yasei Zander River Jig rods are intentionally longer than vertical rods to give you enhanced casting performance. Specifically designed for zander fishing with jigheads and soft lures in rivers, they are just as effective on canals and ponds when you want to fish away from the bank.

There are three rods in the range and the one you choose will depend on the types of water you fish and your preferred jighead weights.

For searching the depths of the largest rivers with heavy jig heads, the 2,70 m Heavy version comes out on top. With its excellent casting performance and optimal usage range of 24 to 56 g, you can really cover a lot of water, reach distant areas of the river and get down to the bottom quickly if there is a strong current. The extra length and power also improve control of big fish in a fast current. There is also a Medium version with a length of 2,70 m and a usage range of 12-28g. It is ideal for slower rivers, large canals and calm waters.

For short-range fishing, the Medium option (12-28g), at a length of 2,40 m, makes perfect sense. The improved handling and sensitivity of the shorter length allow you to work your soft lures very precisely and the extra fast action even amplifies the most timid bites, which is particularly important when zander are in a picky mood.

At the heart of every Yasei rod is a Full Carbon High Modulus blank built with Hi-Power X technology and Nano Alloy. This reduces blank twist during casting and fighting the fish, and gives a very responsive feel that is essential when zander are in a picky mood. To further increase sensitivity and overall performance, the rods are fitted with recently designed, lightweight Fuji Alconite K-type guides suitable for braid and nylon.

In keeping with the high-quality design, a Fuji IPS reel seat is mounted on the two-piece EVA handle, giving this range a modern look that matches its excellent fishing performance.
