The Lure Soul Cast PE is the best braided line offered by the premium manufacturer Momoi. In our view, it’s a high-end braided line with which few products in the world can compete.

Thanks to its special coating, it allows you to achieve excellent casting distances. At the same time, its abrasion resistance is remarkable for a given diameter. The coating is particularly durable. The braid is supple, very quiet and retains its color for a long time. If you're still looking for a new favorite braided line and know how to appreciate the value of a good line, the Lure Soul PE clearly deserves a place on your reel.

At Momoi, we no longer provide diameters for our braided lines, but only the PE rating. Here's why:

• The diameter of a braided line cannot be measured accurately because of its irregular cross-section.

• The majority of competitors state unrealistic values. In reality, most of their braids are thicker or less strong than advertised. Many anglers are misled by these figures. We prefer not to play that game and remain honest.
• Japanese PE classifies braids by their actual weight, not their strength. Concretely, two braids having the same weight for the same length belong to the same PE class. Japanese manufacturers use reference tables to determine these classes. In practice, the PE rating gives a much more reliable indication of a braid's thinness, even without direct measurement of the diameter.
