The razor clam is one of the most versatile and attractive shellfish in both the Atlantic and Mediterranean. Caught in the North Sea and flash frozen alive at very low temperature, their freshness is optimal. They can be used whole with their shell to target the gilthead bream as well as shelled (whole or in pieces). Tips: The flesh of the razor clam is relatively delicate, lashing this bait with very fine elastic thread will optimize its hold on the hook, especially if you need to cast far (surfcasting).
