An ancestral practice in Japan, tenya fishing is the ultimate multi-species fishing method! Originally designed for fishing sparids, they are very effective on sea bream, sargo, porgies, rockfish, bottom-dwelling fish, bass, sea bass, red mullet, but also cephalopods!
A tenya with a flat profile giving it greater lift in the water. This atypical design gives the Rock Shallow an even more gliding and slower swim than the Shallow during the descent. On the ascents, the water pressure on its flat face will make it weave laterally. This lighter motion close to the bottom is exceptionally effective on the most stubborn fish. A must for prospecting shallow areas while drifting!

Features :
• Anti-return stem: A metal anti-return stem holds the shrimp in place and prevents it from sliding on the shank during animation or in strong currents.
• Main hook: reinforced and ultra-sharp, its shape perfectly matches that of the shrimp for a very natural presentation.
• Assist hook No.6: the round assist hook is a forged iron hook with deadly sharpness. Small but very robust, its size perfectly fits the mouths of sparids. Planted in the shrimp's head, it will punish the slightest bite and give the fish no chance.
• 65 lb braid of 55 mm with fluorescent silicone strands: the braid of the assist hook is provided with thin fluorescent silicone strands that match the color of the tenya. Long and flexible, these strands will remind predators of a shrimp's legs and movable antennae. Their movement in the water and their fine vibrations will further enhance the tenya's attractiveness. The fluorescent colors react to UV, especially in shallow zones.
• Stand up position: The specific flat located under the tenya makes it always rest flat as soon as it touches the bottom without ever tipping onto its side. Tilted at 45°, the hook is in a high position relative to the bottom and thus limits the risk of snags. The shrimp's natural presentation is optimal for hooking the timidest bites of sparids.
• Original colors: 3 crackle-effect colors evoking the shells that sparids are so fond of. Red / Phospho-Pink / Phospho-Black
• Recommended baiting: Shrimp, prawn pieces, squid, sardine, worms, cockle...
• Target fish: The tenya is the ultimate multi-species fishing method! Originally designed for fishing sparids, they are very effective on sea bream, sargo, porgies, rockfish, bottom-dwelling fish, bass, sea bass, red mullet, but also cephalopods!
