An ancestral practice in Japan, tenya fishing is the ultimate multi-species fishing method! Originally designed for sparids, they are very effective on gilt-head breams, sargo, porgies, rockfish, bottom-dwelling fish, bass, sea bass, red mullets, and also cephalopods!
A tenya with a flat profile gives it greater lift in the water. This atypical design gives the Rock Shallow an even more gliding and slower fall than the Shallow during descent. During retrievals, the pressure of the water on its flat face will make it yaw laterally. This lighter action near the bottom is exceptionally effective on the most difficult fish. A must for prospecting shallow drifting areas!

Features :
• Anti-slip pin: A metal anti-return pin keeps the shrimp in place and prevents it from sliding down the shank during action or in strong currents.
• Main hook: reinforced and ultra-sharp, its shape perfectly matches that of the shrimp for a very natural presentation.
• Assist hook No.6: the round assist hook is made of heavy-gauge steel with a deadly point. Small but very robust, its size fits perfectly the mouths of sparids. Set into the head of the shrimp, it will punish the slightest bite and leave the fish no chance.
• 65 lb braid 55 mm with fluorescent silicone strands: the braid of the assist hook is equipped with fine fluorescent silicone strands that pick up the color of the tenya. Long and supple, these strands will remind predators of the shrimp's legs and moving antennae. Their movement in the water as well as their fine vibrations will further increase the tenya's attractiveness. The fluo colors react to UV, especially in shallow areas.
• "Stand up" position: The specific flat area located under the tenya makes it always rest flat as soon as it touches the bottom without ever tipping onto its side. Tilted at 45°, the hook is in a high position relative to the bottom and thus limits the risk of snags. The natural presentation of the shrimp is optimal to set the hook on the timidest bites of sparids.
• Original colors: 3 crackled-effect colors evoking the shells that sparids are so fond of. Red / Phospho-Pink / Phospho-Black
• Suggested baiting: Shrimp, pieces of prawns, squid, sardine, worms, clam...
• Targeted fish: The tenya is the ultimate multi-species fishing method! Originally designed for sparids, they are very effective on gilt-head breams, sargo, porgies, rockfish, bottom-dwelling fish, bass, sea bass, red mullets, and also cephalopods!
