Kaizen Green Ceramic

The extremely popular Kaizen Green range is now available with ceramic-lined guides on all long-range and spod rods, offering even more choice when selecting the ideal set-up for every type of fishing.

The original Kaizen Green rods were developed to offer many of the performance features of the flagship Kaizen Platinum range at a much more accessible price. Built on a similar fast-taper profile, the blanks deliver a responsive action concentrated in the tip, enabling high tip speed and efficient power transfer during the cast. The tip also retains enough give to absorb the runs of a fish at close range, making these rods just as enjoyable to play fish on as they are to cast.

Until now, ceramic guides were only available on the 10 ft Kaizen Green models. At anglers' request, they are now also available on the longer, more powerful rods in the range.

Compared with Minima guides, the durable ceramic inserts offer increased longevity and are particularly well suited to the small-diameter main lines commonly used for fishing and casting at very long range. When powerful casts repeatedly send line through the guides at high speed, the smooth, abrasion-resistant ceramic inserts provide the reliability needed for demanding long-range fishing.

Ceramic guides also give the rods a different appearance. Their more substantial construction adds a slightly more traditional, premium look than the sleek Minima guides, while retaining the understated style characteristic of the Kaizen Green range.

Each rod is fitted with the proven Kaizen Green blank, a low-glare matt finish, black whippings and subtle green detailing. The black Japanese shrink-wrap handle has a flared butt section to provide a secure grip during powerful casts, while the Sea-Guide DPS-style reel seat holds the reel firmly in place.

Whether you're fishing a large European venue, looking to gain every extra metre on the cast or setting up a spod rod with stronger guides, the range now offers a Kaizen Green Ceramic rod to suit.
