The penn® xt twin tip rods are part of the new exclusive penn® tidal surfcasting concept. The tidal xt twin tip rod is unique and comes with two different tips. One hybrid sensitip tip with a casting power of 100–225 g, ideal for light-tackle fishing, and another more powerful full-carbon tip capable of handling weights up to 350 g. Both tips are fitted with fuji K-type guides with alconite rings to facilitate very long casts and also prevent the line from tangling around the guides. Thanks to the combination of high-modulus carbon 36/40t, the rod benefits from a responsive, light and slim blank. Moreover, the special x-wrap carbon technology reinforces the blank’s strength and reduces the risk of tangling, thereby improving long casts and their accuracy. Glow-in-the-dark paint makes detecting bites easier in low light. In addition, this rod is equipped with a special x-shrink handle to aid long casts.
