When carp-fishing specialist Andy Bennett joined the Mainline Match team at the start of the year, he wanted to create his own groundbait mix dedicated to pole and feeder carp fishing: this is how the Bagga Mix was born! This groundbait is made from a blend of different pellets with varying levels of fish meals and oils, giving it a strong pellets and fishmeal aroma. On closer inspection, you can see the different shades and particles from these pellets.

The milling process is also essential and gives the groundbait a slightly gritty but consistent texture, making it very easy to prepare and use. All the particles absorb water perfectly, allowing the bait to become well aerated while retaining a fast sink rate — a key point for Andy Bennett — so it can be used in different forms while keeping fish active on the bottom.

It can be shaped into hard or softer balls, but is particularly effective when used as a "sandcastle" or freely deposited in the cup with a pole.

It is equally effective when molded around a method feeder or an hybrid feeder, breaking down quickly and evenly. The Green Bagga Mix has a neutral green colour, highly attractive regardless of water clarity, and is presented as a versatile groundbait very popular on carpodromes, suitable for all species, especially carp, F1s and bream.
