The Orion Jig, of a reasonably compact shape, can be used for casting or jigging. Its unique profile is the perfect compromise that allows it to descend rapidly with slight oscillations. It's these oscillations that bring the jig to life and trigger attacks. As with most lure fishing, vary the retrieval: accelerations, pauses will increase the number of touches and trigger violent attacks on their part. Designed by Eric Le Guyader for fishermen operating on our coasts or in exotic locations. The Orion Jig is slightly more compact than the average, just what is needed, and can be used for casting (in 60 g) or jigging. Its singular silhouette gives it quick descent and very lively side-to-side oscillations. Easy to handle and very attractive on both the drop and retrieval, it's been a standard for many years and is essential in the box of any self-respecting jigger! Think about alternating the speeds and amplitudes of retrieval to get the most out of it and annoy the GTs, Dogtooth Tuna, Groupers etc.
