Pin’s Yo-Zuri : Slim but muscular!

After years of loyal service, it must be acknowledged that the Pin’s Minnow remains a timeless reference for the trout opener!

This lure, which one might think is finesse because of its profile, is in fact specifically designed to face currents. In short, it loves the flow! It is ideal for the shallowest zones like long smooth runs because, held high on the rod, it runs in the skin of the water. For action, we recommend a simple steady retrieve only interrupted by a few light twitches. It is excellent for covering a lot of ground quickly but also proves very useful for discreet pitching under the rod. Its swimming is straight and stable, which allows you to venture very close to covers and rocks. Its vibrations are fairly discreet, which is an advantage on salmonids often frightened by too intense wobbling. It should also be noted that it is not very noisy, which is another plus for wary fish.

Far from the outrageous colours you can find here and there, the shades are very natural. Everyone will choose their favourite colour depending on their playground, but the « speckled trout » and « bleak » patterns remain for many of us standards!

While the 5 cm (2 gr) is an all-rounder, the 7 cm (4 gr) model will allow targeted searches for the larger specimens or sea trout. Note that it also performs extremely well on chub, perch and on all the fine fish that target small prey (more common than you might think!).
