A battery is now essential equipment for most vessels, even the smallest ones (float tubes, fishing kayaks...). Whether it's for connecting a sonar, a thermal engine, an electric motor or any other electronic device. From the Lead start battery, to the slow discharge Gel, AGM or even Lithium for heavy users... the right choice has to be made. Generally in 12V, a battery can be connected to another, or even several. This connection is made with a coupler to output 24V, 36V or even 48V in series, and/or in parallel, in order to increase the amperes and thus the autonomy according to your configuration and your needs. An automatic battery charger, fixed or portable, is necessary for recharging and maintenance. They exist in single output, in double and triple output to charge a whole set simultaneously, without effort and safe. The electrical installation must be protected by a circuit breaker, a MCB as well as terminals to guarantee the safety of the connections.
